Towards the emergence of an airship industry in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The establishment of our factory in Laruscade, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, marks the development of a brand-new aeronautical sector fully geared towards the future.

At the regional level, this major initiative is supported by the commitment of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and the Latitude Nord Gironde Community of Municipalities, which are driving the creation of an Economic Activity Zone (ZAE) dedicated to airship assembly and testing.

At the national and international levels, this program is part of the flagship projects of La Nouvelle France Industrielle, helping to strengthen France’s industrial sovereignty and its influence beyond its borders.

Expected benefits:

👉 Stimulating the local economy and contributing to the reindustrialization of the region, with around 300 direct jobs on site and just as many indirect ones.
👉 Developing training partnerships and specialized skills, building on the region’s aeronautical excellence.

The public inquiry took place this summer: it was an important opportunity for everyone to share their views on the project.
🔜 Next step: by the end of 2025, obtaining the necessary authorizations and starting construction.
