🏭 On the occasion of the Québec Air Transport Association (AQTA) Congress, FLYING WHALES QUÉBEC officially announced a preliminary agreement on May 1, 2025, with the cities of Sherbrooke, Cookshire-Eaton, and the Corporation for the Development of Sherbrooke Airport (CDAS) to establish its North American airship manufacturing facility.
📍 This 50-hectare site in Cookshire-Eaton will host the assembly lines and testing infrastructure for the LCA60T airships intended for the North and South American markets—a major milestone in the development of FLYING WHALES QUÉBEC.
🤝 This strategic project, driven by a spirit of Franco-Québécois cooperation, will create 300 direct and indirect jobs, while strengthening a sustainable aerospace sector in the Estrie region, supported by local technological and academic ecosystems.
