FLYING WHALES at the Forum Bois Construction: Innovating to preserve forests and build more sustainably

Last week, FLYING WHALES set up at the Grand Palais for the Wood Construction Forum. As part of the Layon Guyane booth, alongside key players in the Guyanese timber industry, we had the opportunity to showcase how our airship can contribute to sustainable forest exploitation. 🌿

In French Guiana and beyond, our solution enables the use of renewable forest resources in hard-to-reach areas without the need for costly forest roads—both ecologically and economically. This major innovation helps protect ecosystems while unlocking their potential.

The forum was also an excellent opportunity to engage with professionals in the construction industry. Together, we explored how our airship will revolutionize the sector by transporting large prefabricated components directly to construction sites, free from road size constraints. 🏗️

As a key partner of FLYING WHALES in French Guiana, the Municipality of Macouria voted on Thursday, February 13, in favor of establishing our operational base in its territory.

A big thank you to the International Wood Construction Forum organizers and to Franck Brasselet from JAG Architecture for designing this beautiful booth dedicated to French Guiana!
