FLYING WHALES is commited alongside Botswana

The MEDEF International hosted the President of the Republic of Botswana on Wednesday, April 8, for an exchange dedicated to the country’s economic priorities and business opportunities for French companies. FLYING WHALES had the honor of engaging directly with His Excellency President Duma Boko.

Unlocking access to still hard-to-reach areas remains a major challenge for Botswana’s economic development. Whether for mining sites, agro-industrial clusters, or energy and water infrastructure, these environments continue to face logistics solutions that are often costly, slow, and difficult to deploy using conventional means alone.

Botswana has a clear ambition to accelerate its industrial development. This notably involves structuring its regional logistics ecosystem to match its potential. The FLYING WHALES solution fits into this dynamic as a complementary lever.

The President’s support marked a decisive step forward, with the launch of initial concrete actions set to begin in the coming months:

• A study for a regional cargo hub for Southern Africa in Botswana
• The identification of a shortlist of potential sites for the future hub
