FLYING WHALES certified EN9100 and ISO9001: a new milestone reached in our quality journey

✅ FLYING WHALES engages in developing its products and services focusing on the highest quality possible. As a result, compliance with all relevant regulations, as well as ensuring the quality of our products and services, are the keys to the success of our company.

Driven by this vision, we are glad to announce that FLYING WHALES’ Quality Management System (QMS) has been certified as per EN9100 and ISO9001 by LRQA with the scope: “Design and Development of Airship and its Related Systems”.

This certification is the result of many years of building, maturing, and deploying our QMS within FLYING WHALES. Several audits have been conducted since January 2025 to demonstrate the maturity of this system. Thanks to LRQA’s positive, constructive, and collaborative approach throughout this initial certification audit process, FLYING WHALES successfully obtained its certifications.

✈️ This is an initial step for us, and we remain committed to continuously improving our system to the highest standards.

FLYING WHALES has also been collaborating with EASA for several years to develop the certification processes for our airship. Work is currently underway to obtain design privileges through a DOA (Design Organisation Approval), confirming our compliance with these specific requirements.
