FLYING WHALES is an extraordinary industrial adventure.

We will design, build and operate a fleet of airships, the LCA60T, designed for cargo transport. Capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tonnes of cargo (wood, wind turbine blades, containers, mobile hospital, etc.) in hovering flight, with a reduced environmental footprint, this transport solution is unique.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

FLYING WHALES SERVICES (FWS), the future operations company of FLYING WHALES (FLWH) which will operate the LCA60T, will sell heavy lift and aerial work services for various markets and applications.

To strengthen the Marketing, Sales & Communication Department, we are looking for a Market Analyst with experience in analysis and marketing in logistics or air transportation.

The job holder will be responsible for structuring marketing data and providing analysis and trends on all our applications, on direct and indirect competition and on any country or area where business is anticipated.

YOUR MISSIONS :

• Be the focal point of the Market & Sales Direction when data or market studies are needed on a specific business or area

• Provide regular analysis and tendencies on our applications and markets

• Provide analysis and global trends on cargo transportation in general

• Identify and gather relevant macro-economic data to support decision making for  introduction in a new country

• Develop business intelligence on competition

• Develop business intelligence on conventional means of freight

• Structure Marketing Department data and automate reporting of key indicators for the Sales & Marketing team

• Monitor and track key metrics on business cases

• Help develop Sales teams arguments

• Provide support for building-up Business Plans for FWSERVICES bases

BUSINESS SECTORS AND GEOGRAPHICAL AREA:

YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCIES :

• Education: 5 years' higher education (business school, engineering school, MBA)

• Previous experience: 3 to 5 years' experience as market analyst in the field of logistics services, exceptional transport, or air transport.

• In B2B or B2G

• In an international environment

YOUR SKILLS :

• You are rigorous and structured

• You have the ability to summarise and provide synthetic insights in English language

• You are used to manipulating, sorting and aggregating data for visualisation and use in your reports

• Expert on Excel, Power BI or equivalent

• Fluent French and English

• Good interpersonal skills, proven ability to build relationships and work as part of a team

• Ability to be autonomous and propose and take initiatives

• You are dynamic, adaptable and have good listening skills
