We design today and we will build and operate tomorrow a fleet of airships, the LCA60T, intended for cargo transport. Capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tons of cargo (wood, wind turbine blades, containers, mobile hospitals, etc.) in hovering flight, with a reduced environmental footprint, this transport system is unprecedented.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER FOR AIRSHIP PILOTING TRAINING MEANS.

YOUR MISSIONS:

Within the Operations Department and within the framework of FLYING WHALES SERVICES, you are responsible for providing the means of flight training to set up the flight school.

As such, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Manage the operational needs and the specifications of a training airship

• Act as project manager for the acquisition of training airships (including infrastructure)

• Define the specifications of the airship flight simulator in accordance with the regulatory framework

• Coordinate the development and acquisition of FSTDs

• Set up a technological partnership with the partners concerned in order to improve innovation

• Ensure compliance with security operations management

• Ensure compliance with regulations (ICAO)

YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES:

•         At least 3 years of experience in aeronautics in a technical project management position

•         Engineering degree or equivalent degree in aeronautics required

•         Experience in relation to the Civil Aviation Authorities required

•         Knowledge of air operations (CAT, SPO, others) highly recommended

•         Experience in security analyzes

YOUR COMPETENCIES:

•         Ability to quickly grasp the specifics of airship operations

•         Ability to negotiate with the authorities on complex subjects

•         Ease in the preparation of documents, reports and compliance elements for the authorities

•         Good ability to evolve in the aeronautical safety environment (Safety Management System)

•         Excellent level in written and speaking English

•         Good knowledge of requirements management tools (3DX in particular)

•         Excellent communication skills
